MODERN SUGAR SET TO RENOVATE BWAYUYA PRIMARY SCHOOL 

This afternoon, Kaliro District leadership has converged at BWAYUYA Primary School to officially handover the school premises to Modern Sugar for renovation.

While addressing key stakeholders in a meeting held at BWAYUYA Primary School, the District Chairperson Hon Kagoda Elijah Dhikusoka applauded Modern Sugar for extending a hand to the development of the school.

The Human resource Manager Modern Sugar Kaliro Mr. Nakhaima Moses  in his communication explained that as an act of cooperate social responsibility the factory is going to renovate BWAYUYA Primary school and the following will be done
1. Renovation of all classrooms 
2. Tilling of all classrooms and offices
3. Put ceilings in all classrooms and offices 
4. Paint all classrooms and offices
5. Construct three pit latrines one for the boys, girls,and teachers 
6. They will furnish all classrooms with modern desks
7. Install a five thousand litre tank for rain water harvesting 
8. Complete one classroom structure 
9. Construct a modern kitchen and a store

Note. Kaliro sugar will fund all activities, building materials and pay all labor costs.

He however asked the District to adequately supervise the construction and the school management to ensure safety of all the building materials. 

The representative of the DEO Mr. Kamanya Moses in his remarks urged the school management committee to support the development of the school.
